CHALLENGE: TECH TRANSFORMATION AT SCALE
With the pandemic, Gympass had to rapidly innovate to offer much more than access to physical activities. It already had plans to enter new areas, such as meditation, nutrition and mental health – accelerated during the lockdown. Adaptations and integrations to the core system were made in record time, but Gympass still needed a complete tech transformation.
This presented a giant challenge – think of changing a plane’s engine mid-flight, from both a business and tech point of view, as the new system needed to align with the commercial unit, be compatible with the current system and be able to scale without any constraints, all under serious time pressure.

THE SOLUTION
Jointly, Invillia and Gympass are recreating the wellbeing platform with amazing new capabilities, taking advantage of the adaptable power of the Global Growth Framework.
To ensure the new system would be able to delight clients and provide an excellent user experience, Gympass set two major benchmarks before making it widely available: successful testing by its internal team and successful testing by an external customer. Gympass partnered with Invillia on the beta version to collect feedback, detect bugs, try new features, and suggest improvements based on real-world experience.
