This year, we all made possible what seemed impossible thanks to our collective overcoming power. It’s now time to take stock of 2020 and look ahead to 2021. At Invillia we couldn’t be more grateful. Everything that happened in 2020 brought us even closer. Closer as a team as we reinforced our culture, practices and tools to be more connected, engaged and empowered than ever. Closer to our clients by boosting their bold innovation missions and continued growth. All of this makes us immensely proud. Joining forces, we were the power. The power to dare, to sustain relevance, to support each other. Today we are better prepared for any imponderable. Digital is here to stay_
The consumer has changed. And this applies to all companies. Habits have changed, feelings have changed, priorities have changed, and these are profound and lasting changes. What many did in 2019 and stopped doing in 2020, will find a different way to do it in 2021. The companies that are able to respond to this are at an advantage. Of course, there are segments more penalized by their nature, but in general, those who turned to digital, renewed their offer, delivered new differentials, conquered another type of clients, ended the year with results that even exceeded their own expectations. Even with all the uncertainty, many companies understood that they had an opportunity there, that they needed to explore within a very short time frame. And Invillia helped to speed up this timing of reinvention by transforming state-of-the-art technology into game-changing digital products and services.
Everybody, everywhere in_
Instation is a product that we developed to support our operation. And when the lockdowns spread around the globe, we realized that we could go further and help those who were trying to respond in a more concrete way. Because one thing is to share how we engage and perform people. And another is to provide a Microsoft-awarded tool (another awesome 2020 milestone) that reflects all of it and that they can benefit immediately. To connect people, to extract metrics for continuous improvement, to make the issue of distance irrelevant. And many new features are coming for 2021. Stay tuned 😉
Keeping an open mind to react quickly_
As fast as the company goes, it is really important to create channels to listen to people, to be open-minded. Understanding that the world is in a process of reconstruction and that to take advantage of this wave in a positive way, we need to be very receptive to hearing opinions, from customers, employees, peers, and to bring all this in, mix and quickly reshape the path. The big problem is seeing the world outside changing and keep doing what has worked in the past, thinking it will also work in the future. We have to keep an open mind, be up to date about technology, don’t settle for the market – no matter how good it is – and try to think a few years ahead. Limitless innovations become a consequence of this exercise.
When the culture is bigger than the company_
In 2020, Invillia took a huge cultural leap. In our plans, what we did in one year would take at least three years. That changed the whole story. Until March, we already had 70% of the team spread, and when the pandemic came, it was time to reach 100%, to change all policies, many practices. Today the company runs at a resounding speed and with a genuine connected work inspired by data. And the best thing about this is that we are managing to address clients’ demand in a much faster, more fluid, better way. We were able to prove in practice that the model really works when it is embedded in a strong culture, when everyone shares a common purpose, when everything is specifically thought for anywhere-talents, when teams are empowered and cared for not only professionally, but also personally. And this is reflected in the results. We grew more than 70% this year in revenue and reached 800 employees. Employees who work and evolve side by side in 150 different cities of 3 continents. Employees who conquered and were conquered by many new game-changers. Most of them as recommendations from current customers. Can you imagine our pride when being recognized by our delivery reputation, transparency, proactivity, commitment, use of metrics?
Making things happen to deliver the necessary limitless innovations _
Many companies will have to rethink their strategy because it will be increasingly difficult to deliver what is needed, with the speed and techs needed. Maybe it’s time to evaluate and establish partnerships. Together we are definitely stronger than alone. Not only to make great things happen, but also to gain different perspectives and generate effective discussions that can lead to better and faster outcomes.
